It’s been a beautiful evening here, got a double rainbow that also had both ends visible!
Hope everyone else’s evening is going well :)

Certainly agree! I love this period as we get backlash from tornadoes that hit the US (generally it’s beautiful lightning storms) and other times we get the double rainbows.
Here’s one photo I got of lightning in September :)

We had bears, wolves and lynx’s but they all went extinct over here a while ago…
Instead we were left with all the small dangerous things;
Giant Asian Hornets (Invasive species)
European/Common Adders
Portuguese man o war
Yellow tailed Scorpions
Weever fish
And a couple others, but the most dangerous animal in the Uk remains as… Cows!

And of course, a Xeni update :)
He’s only at the back because I was trying to get a photo, however he now ventured all over the tank without being bothered!

Well as I told relatives when I was in Africa who told me: “Stop messing with those dangerous animals. They’ll kill you! Go find yourself a nice girl and settle down.” By far the most statistically deadly animal to humans are other humans and especially humans who you have romantic relationships with.

Boy Ikea must be jealous
Ikea will have her update soon haha, I need to get new photos of everyone but the wrasses refuse to cooperate… Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have a period of photo shooting and get all 9 wrasses and the remaining 9(?) fish

Last night I did a late night move with my Hammer coral.
I believe it’s been going through Tissue recession due to too much light in my nano tank so I moved it into the shade under my monti but it still recessed. So after a week of being under the monti I have decided to try move him into this tank because instead of 300+ PAR on the sand, only the top of the rockwork gets around 300-350 PAR. Currently it’s not in the best spot as I kind of wedged it in thinking it wouldn’t be carried by the urchins.
however my hopes are that I can get it puttied or glues down into the lower rockwork and it will continue to split instead of risking it dying because as the photo shows this guy has split quite a bit in the year I’ve had it and it started as a 2 head frag now, including the splitting heads it has a total of 13 heads.

Hammer update!
He’s thriving again!! This boy has got a nice Polyp Extension again and is now dog ball sized again :)
Plus, he adds a nice sense of the Reef not growing on just one side and growing on all 4 sides (My aim for a completed tank is to have corals growing round the back as well as round the front).

Also this weekend I am thinking of getting something for the bottom corner so… vote;
Encrusting piece (E.g. Favia)
Branching/upwards piece (E.g. Cristata torches)

Nice color! Looks like you sand bed is in need of a plate, scoly, trachy or acantho. Or maybe several!

I’d absolutely agree if it wasn’t for…
