That’s stunning, closed up they look ridiculous but when you watch them open you can really watch how they look like a tree and have the polyps open up similarly to how leaves can grow on actual trees in summer.

That sinularia looks better than mine ever does. It’s finally started to get polyp extension but it doesn’t really do much else. These were 2 but eventually split and went their own ways but are still near eachother.

Its prolly my 3rd one now. I tried placing in different spots high light, sand bed and that one is just below the kenya in 180-200ish par, low flow.

The 1st two sinularia kinda died out. One got covered in alage and the other just was stunted, lol. The one in my picture actually reacts to the t5's ramping up.

Mine just couldn’t care less about where they are and always sulk. I did have a stunning leather in my 3’ tank before this tank, give me a few minutes and I can try find a photo with it in (Maybe not all of it but I’m sure I have a photo of Atleast some of it). I think it was a blue toadstool but it didn’t have polyp extension or even any polyps. It was a leather of some sort though.

Well, not the best photo but it’s the only one I found. Will have a double check later on to see if I find any better photos. Any ID would be great as I’d love to find a leather like this again.

Figured whilst I was there I’d get an update of growth on the Favia!
January 27th 2020.

You can clearly see the frag plug and the skeleton base.
And now from today, absolutely no sign of the frag plug and too many “eyes” to count.

Cabbage leather?
I think it was a pink or blue cabbage leather. Stunning coral though, it was about the size of my foxface currently which is around 5.5 inches, possibly pushing 6.

And here’s another update, I moved the Kenya as it was on the sand bed no matter what and I realised half of it is further up than the other half. Now it’s like I have a wall of Kenya trees!

Been seeing some crazy softies lately. It’s getting me back into them. A pink nepthea is on my list
Totally!
I saw a beautiful long green polyped toadstool, definitely intrigued to see what else I can find. Hoping to get a blue and yellow leather of some point. Then to find an unusual pink leather.

I bought this white tip leather recently that looks pretty cool. It’s gonna be a grower I can already tell.

That’s beautiful! I saw a white tipped leather and I may take a look at it if it’s there next week.

How much light you putting on the sand bed. Im considering a few extra t5 bulbs or led bars to boost lighting a lil bit.

Btw sorry @i cant think we have totally hijacked your build thread, lol.
