Yep here we go , my125 with 30 gallon sump has 120 gallons of water total. Alkalinity has been up and down adding .5 teaspoons of reef builder to each gallon of top off water . Will test this weekend should be close. Other than that reef plus 2 times a week . Coral look a lot better with the reef plus. Makes skimmer works alot harder I know that . Mostly zoas got a pulsating exenia, looks real healthy. Did put two montiporas in encrusting ones doing ok . One is turning white alittle on the edges

so I turned my light down a bit. Seems to have worked so far. Time will tell .

5 months 2 weeks
Alkalinity is on spot going for 8 i have been adding one half teaspoon of reef builder to my make up water I keep it in gallon jugs that is my evaporation rate a gallon a day . And it keeps my alkalinity on spot. Now I have to figure out my calcium . I added some the next day it was at 500 so no calcium for two weeks and I am at 435 . Added some today should be around 450 will check tomorrow. Other than that .

Nitrates undetectable
Got a candy cane doing good and a green tree leather . Also doing well. I have 2 zoa colonies 10 frags that my very large snails push off the rocks . Other than that all is well.

That picture was right about 2 years. I’m 2.5 years in now but will have to break it down soon (much to my protest). Im in the military and it’s time to move again. It’s ok though. I’ll start up another one and be back at square one again.

I’m at Hurlburt Field in the FL panhandle. I’ll be moving to San Antonio. There is a great reefing community here that I’m sad to leave.

Well, Today I took skimmer off line. Will keep an eye on everything if something look wrong i will start it back up.
