Just an update on my system. Started for the first time using dry rock and live sand. Started the rock in trash cans while I set the tank up. We added our first fish.. a pair of extreme bullet hole clowns on Dec 6th along with some bacteria, just to be safe. Struggled a bit to keep the nitrates and phosphate up, but found the tanks balance with more fish, more food, and more reefroids.
We were just snapping some tank pics and and were treated to one of our favorite hammers spawning…. Still going actually. Current fish are the 2 clowns, 2 magnificent firefish, tail spot Benny, and red head salon fairy wrasse. Spawn video at the end :)
