40 breeder - 3rd tank new beginning

This will be my newest build and third reef. Just moved from Washington state to Virginia and will be starting fresh and trying new approaches. Previous tank and current nano tank have produced/ producing good results. However my goal is to produce better results for optimal health of my animals. Not looking to try anything cute or groundbreaking techniques. I want to implement things new to me like kalk and refugium to name some ideas. I feel like old school proven methods are still used today because they work and I want a piece of that action.

Looking great. Pro tip, keep your lighting cords organized so that the hood can be removed if necessary.
