Hey J how hard would the baffles be to remove? Are they only siliconed in? How’s the condition of the silicone on the tank seals?

Yes they are just silicone’d in. Wouldn’t think it would be hard to remove. Seals seem to be in good shape. Your welcome to look it over before you commit to buying it.

Just saw your other post. Are you needing this tank for a quarantine for your sick fish?

Yeah. I got half of them out into my 20L at the moment but I need a bigger tank to house them alll for the duration of treatment.

Man I hate to hear you got sick fish. Well this tank is yours for free if you want it. It sucks to have sick fish. Just let me know if you want to pick it up. Hope that helps your process a little bit.

Man that’s nice of you. Yeah, really bad stroke of luck on this tank, quarantine and all. I may take you up on that this weekend if you’re around. I did find a guy with a 40B but he lives in Cookeville and won’t be back until Monday and I really need to get this rolling over the weekend.

That’s cool man. Just let me know. I should be around this afternoon and this weekend. I’ll be going in to Nashville tonight to Vanderbilt. I could take it with me. Just an option. Not sure if that helps with where you live or not.

Well I don’t live far from 100 oaks so that absolutely helps. Do you think I can adequately clean that up for quarantine with a vinegar bath? Is that dried coralline or sand?

Let me look when I get home. I believe it can be cleaned. I think it’s just dried algae and sand. I just haven’t took the time to clean it. I’ll let you know in a little while.

Thanks man that’d be great

Looks like it will come off. May need to use vinegar. I scraped it and it started coming off. I have it with me and headed downtown. I’m going to dinner and then to Vanderbilt. Just pm me if you want to get it.

Unfortunately tonight isn’t going to work, I had seen enough and started yanking the fish which of course turned into a major ordeal, luckily they’re all doing well but I have a family of 10 crammed into a studio apartment so I will be addressing that this weekend
