Hey group! I recently picked up this aquatop Recife this last month and finally got water going into it! Used RODI water using a 55 gallon barrel system I made outside. Got the water to temp. Mixed salt and verified salinity at 1.026 setting up all electrical components now! (Heater/powerheads/main pump/ rainbird system/ ATO/ light!
If you have any suggestions feel free to let me know!

If the sand doesn’t settle and compact I may pull some out as it’s a little tall

im not familiar with that specific AIO sump, so can’t really comment on the level. If your display level looks good when the pumps are running, and it doesn’t overflow anything when your pumps are off, it’s probably good. If you want the cloudiness to settle from the sand, it might be a good idea to keep the pump running and use a filter sock or some filter floss or something to let it remove the really fine particles.

Finally got 2 clowns and 4 hermits added! Tank cycled handled 3-4ppm in about 34 hrs. (When I checked could’ve been 28-34hrs)
Working on my flow from Powerheads now as it seems to make a mound on the tank, but here’s a pic! Lights will go on in a couple days to let fish acclimate and not be stressed. I should wait to feed as well right ?
