Hey reefers, I started out in a 20g with a pc light (hand me down) and old old protein/filter combo(also hand me down) had a bad cyano break out, which I'm ashamed to say but I thought it was good at first, I got excited at the growth.....then I was told by my brother that it's bad and boy did I feel stupid. Well at that point, I gave up on reef tanks, broke the whole tank down. My friend convinced me to try one more time, went out and brought a better skimmer and light(current 4 bulb T5, I know nothing special). So once again I ventured into the reef world, and I was hooked. I started researching and actually understanding reef systems. Now I'm onto a 40b and looking to go bigger. I'm always up for info and comments. Below are pictures, my tank is currently about a year and a half old.

Most of my friends that have tanks are jealous of mine now and mine is younger.
