So I have a 8g evolve 8 tank and I really like how the filter is built in to the tank and I figured it would be cool to do te samething with my 40 breeder. I used some plexiglass I had laying around and cut it to size and bent the ends to a 90 degree angle, made some baffles, and glued them to the back glass an bottom of the tank. The filter (in tank sump) came out to be 32"l x 15"h x 4"w.

I cut some slots for the overflow on the left side of the tank image.jpg I waited 3 days and washed the silicone and today I finally filled it up!! Using a maxi jet 1200 for the return at the moment jus to try it out

I like it! I'd like to try this on my 29g I use for qt. But I'd prolly do it on the end of the tank.
