I'm going to try and make this as much of a build thread as possible, but it will really just highlight some details of my 40 breeder I've had running for about 3 years.
Aluminum T-slot extrusion stand and light rails:
The original skimmer, Skimz SN143, was replaced with a Bubble Magus Curve 5. The tank is always a hit at parties...
