Dear Steve
How many pound of Rock and Sand did you use to come up with this wonderful land scape?

I started with about 600 lbs of rock but ended up only using about 500 lbs. I think I used about 300 lbs of sand.

I haven't really resolved the sand issue, just living with it. I reduced the flow in the tank a little and it has helped with the sand not blowing around as much.

I use Reef Crystals for my salt mix.

First of all Beautiful build! I cant imagine the planning and precision that went into such an amazing reef tank. I love all of the frags it will be very excited to watch them grow over the years I am sure. I do have one question if you could be so kind to answer it. Which type of fish is this in one of your pictures?

ApocalyptiCoral - that is a Melanurus Wrasse.

I really like those colored sticks you got, Steve.

Melev is correct. I have the male (which is pictured) as well as a female. Very cool wrasse.

Thanks Melev, I also got a buch of new stuff from the Aqua SD sale. Should be here tomorrow. A couple of nice scollys, several favias and a rainbow symphyllia.
