Hey guys. My mom wants me to setup a 1/2 gallon tank for just inverts such as snails some tiny star fish and other small inverts. What do I use for circulation and keeping the aerated. I have the tank the sand and getting the rock and heater soon. Also could I keep a peppermint shrimp or other small shrimp. Thanks everyone.

I mean I know what u are trying to say but the only day it wouldn't get topped off is Saturday and Sunday
You are thinking days. I'm thinking morning and evening. Twice a day you will have to add water. Plus with a heater, that will cause more evap than just a glass of water if that is what you are comparing this to. Depending on weather changes, more or less can be added to the equation.

Would using a vase with a glass like help/eliminate it?

yep it sure would, we get average a week in between topoffs but its the unclassic shape. the square tank is 2x a day as fox called it

I choose to blast so much air through mine it needs topoff every 3 days, can be extended out to 9 days if needed by valving the air down off my pump to a trickle. they can take that kind of variation if we use no fish in the setup.

Great thanks. I may go that way.
