Interested in doing 5 gal saltwater tank! Would like to stock with 1-3 fish for sure keeping my small clown, I have a 20 gal and is doing well! I know these are hard to do and hard too maintain! Looking help
Thanks

Cool man, how big is the star fish? I'd recommend only one fish for the five gallon but you gotta find one that can live happily in there

And thank you, pet co does it with a lot of fish haha so I'm sure one will be find with some corals

you can put a sealed lid on it and an airstone. between those 2 things with weekly water changes maintenance becomes really easy.

If you went 3 fish what 3 fish are you thinking?
I personally think 1 fish is probably about it for a 5 gallon, esp if its your clown.
I wouldn't do a star or nem either, and I wouldn't use petco as a model for what is a good idea.
Coral would be fine load it up, but how do you plan on lighting it? Temp swings in a small tank are going to be your biggest issue, as well as evaporation.
maintenance, would be pretty easy imo, just empty around 2 gallons a week and put fresh water in. just make sure it's the same temp.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
