I don't think that a five gallon would be sufficiant for seahorses. they should be kept in groups of 4-6 in a 20 gallon or larger. if your into crabs you could consider hermits. Cardnal fish would be good too. certaine gobys or blennies would work. Personally I would do a tidepool biotope

A lot of people do dwarf seahorses in even smaller tanks, they are perfect for a 5 gallon/nanno tanks. However the regulations I've found it seems finding them in Canada is impossible

They grown to 1 to 1.5 inches very tiny seahorses not regular seahorses
