2years orange creamsicle from 1/2" frag. I bought it when it was first release from Raymond TGC. When the condition is right it's grow like a staghorn
Yeah mine is finally starting to put off nubs after it really based out. Thanks anthony!

I think that the key to the success of photons is to have multiple over the width of the tank. I am not happy with my setup so far. I think that I am going to add a supplemental bar...maybe the orphecks since the reef breeder bars only max out at a limited percentage. I love the profile of the photons, I am just not happy about the results so far.

Wow those top downs are beautiful! Can we get some close shots from the top of that pink tip abro and some of those nicely colored stags?
Of course, but by the time I get home today, it’ll be all blues. I’ll try to shoot tomorrow but my photo skills suck

It’s ok, I just really like the growth forms your getting and you don’t see many staghorn type acros in peoples tanks these days. That abro is my favorite though, how long have you had it and how big was it when you got it? Looks like it’s really happy! Not an easy one to keep.

that albro is from BC, his Bleeding Tree 2.0; it's one of my favorites too, the growth tips are so nice. Its basing out so much it's killing that Maleficent next to it. I've had it since February and about a month or so ago the tips started to multiply quickly.

Man if ran my photons at 85% my stuff would fry
They're at 90% now, and I'm seeing some tenuis that are unhappy, but they're coloring up more. My white is 30% now; my HW had crazy PE at 80% blues, at 90% they don't come out to play anymore, but I'm getting the pinks back.

I was struggling with getting pinks again in this HW, until I really cranked up the whites and daylight spectrum. Now I'm running more W/G/R, which peak at 50% and don't drop below 35% during my core 8 hours of daylight. The pinks were virtually non existent until now. I guess this piece really does need high par?

How long have those colonies been growing out?
Since Feb of this year. It blows my mind when I see pics from then and now. You don't notice how much it changes when you see it daily. There are only a handful that started out as mini colonies/generous large frags. The rest came from small frags.
