Honestly, I have AI hydra 26 with T5 on my 180 and I feel the photon is every bit as good and maybe even better. My acros seem to really like the photon and I love the color.

Your tank really showcases what can be achieved with these lights if you have great water quality and stability.

Honestly, @Reef Breeders , imported and spec'ed out these perfectly. They've amazed me for the money. I was initially debating between these, radion, orpheks, but I really didn't want 6+ units of the latter. I don't think I made a wrong choice. What helps is running MORE whites. Ever since I've upped my whites, things are just getting better and better. And it's not even ugly to look at during the day!

I am slowly upping my whites also. By slow I mean 1-2% a month. I started with whites at 10 and the blues at 35. My lights are only 9 inches above the tank and it is only 18” deep.
I run a 5 hour peak with 3 hour ramp before and 3.5 after. My whites cut off 2 hours before the blues.

Green- 5
White 15
Royal Blue- 48
Cool blue- 48
Violet- 48

I am not sure how high I should go but I am getting upper 300’s on my frags on the higher rocks, and still getting near 200 on the sand bed in many spots.

RO Diablo. I have to clean the Venturi intake and needle wheel every 2 months or so. I skim dry and still have to empty my cup almost weekly.

My my, how time flies... Here are some quick shots for my 9 month progress. Pics were taken with a Samsung and PolypLab filter, probably could be desaturated a little bit, but there's too much too edit. The colors are close enough to what I see. Smooth sailing at this point. NO3 1.0 PPM, PO4 0.03-0.10 PPM, Alk 7.6 dkh. Dealing with some random patches of cyano. No biggie.

Thought I’d keep track of some stuff in a thread. I have four 48 V2+ over my tank, and I’m happy with how they’re growing my acros, keeping color. Perhaps could be larger at this point under MH or T5, but I’d say I’m cruisin along...

Also how fast are you upping your white leds?

That's a caroliniana from @Coral Euphoria , the CE Raspberry Smoothie. It looks way better in his tank where it's actually white. It's a little yellow in my tank. My whites are at 50% for 8 hours and the blues are 100% at this point for about 12 hours.

Whites have helped with better colors for sure. The AB+ program isn't working as well on non Radion lights I'm assuming at this point.

Here's the winner of the year, going on close to a year and all its put out is a nub. Still weighing in at less than 1" frag, the OG ASD mille. December 2x is it's 1 year anniversary.

It's kinda hard to tell but this RMF red devil nasuta has been thru alot. In my frag tank it greened out (too much blue LED for too long) and then started losing tissue/thinning tissue despite having optimal conditions in the display tank. Since having more par and full spec light, it's recovered.

You can even see the CC Kombucha in the second pic where it's bleached out and doing the same thing. Patience will bring it back, hopefully.
