There are a lot of different fish species out there in the saltwater hobby, and some of them are considered "oddballs" either due to behavior, looks, or availability. Some of them need a specialized setup like mudskippers, which need not only a land area but also a thick digging substrate to make burrows in. What would you say is your favorite oddball fish, and would you want to personally keep one?

I want to eventually get around to keeping garden eels, and possibly mudskippers as well

If they didn't eat everything small I would love to keep one as well. Maybe for a future predator build 🤔
Yeah for sure! Im doing a reef this time around and the only predators Ill have are my moray eels

Always wanted a flounder in my tank!
I've always thought those are cool fish. I doubt I would ever have a tank that would be suitable for one.
