Nice! Why an alk of 7? Just curious as I run the same.
It’s just where it sits at. My tank already drains 2 liters of kalk a day and raising it will just cause problems. My alk mini swings from 6.5 to 7.5 depending on the week lol

Nice, those are my range with a target of 7.
Ph has been low. 7.7-8.1 and it’s cuz I have high co2 according to my icp. I have a co2 scrubber on the way. Should increase growth for sure! I’m also using Allan Vo’s (coral reef tank on r2rs) concoction and I’ve seen great results. Here are some before and after shots. 2 weeks of usage. I did a potassium Chloride treatment for aefw which is why hw lost a lot of the secondary colours ;-;

Nice! I use KCL as a dip also for the last 7 years with good results.
On my old systems ph was similar and it did not effect growth from what I saw.
My new system will be mostly acros in my 59×30×21 system.
You can follow here. It also has links to some old tanks before I moved.

Have you tried running higher ph before? Yeah I’m always down to experiment and see how it goes. I’ll check it out!
