50 Gallon Peaceful reef safe stocking?

So im wondering about this stocking wishlist for my up coming build. Im not really locked into any decision yet. Im just wondering about the general compatability of them all, and listed a few concerns on specific fish. The tank will have corals pretty much anything but SPS will be an option so if you notice anything on the list that hasnt been reef safe in your experience, please point it out. Also i plan on getting the typical fair for clean up crew inverts, will any of these fish have expensive appitites? and this list is currently at 14 with one fish that gets pretty large, is it overcrowed? 1 Purple dottyback (Lid required?)
1 Chromis: Green (would there be problems with Dottyback?)
1 Blenny: Forktail
1-3 Cardinalfish: Banggai
2 Clownfish: Ocellaris
1 Dartfish: Exquisite Firefish
1 Filefish: Aiptasia-eating (reef safe?)
1 Sleeper/Sand Sifting Goby: Diamond
1 Hogfish: Yellow candy
1 Marine Betta (centerpeice fish of the tank, but what's the bioload as it gets large?)
1 Reef safe Fairy or Flasher Wrasses: Carpenter’s, McCosker’s, or Royal Flasher
1 Green mandarin (Could I get a sustainable amount of copepods?)

I would skip the marine betta. They like to hide nearly all the time. Also, the filefish may nip at corals.

If you really want a peaceful stress free tank, try to keep it under 10 fish. 13-15 fish is overstocked IMO.

Yeah, I'd say stick to 8-10 small-medium fish in a 50g. Skip the filefish (likely will nip at corals, especially LPS) and I would skip the betta, but that's just me. The dotty back could be a real jerk, but it all depends on the individual fish. The firefish will jump, so you definitely will need a lid. The diamond goby will likely get sand everywhere, so if you get one know what you're getting in to.

Any other issues with a Marine Betta? I was really wanting one for its potential to be a fairly large fish thats comfortable in a smaller tank. With the larger size and darker color I thought it would add some needed varriation to a tank with all smaller brightly colored fish.

Im just speaking from my experience with the marine beta. It's not much of a centerpiece fish since it's very timid and likes to hide in crevasses.

All fish can jump, I’ve had green mandarin jump, watchman goby jump , Bengai cardinal jump, ruby red dragonet jump, and last week my clown jumped :(

Purple dottys can murder fish, I would do a royal gramma

Green chrom, I probably wouldn’t waste a spot on this, can carry uronema anyways.

Benny is ok

Bangaii cardinals often fight if not a mated pair.

Clownfish ok

Diamond goby ok

Hogfish, can become mean when adult, especially with wrasses.

Marine betts, love this fish but it hides often so you need to appreciate the “hidden gem” to appreciate this fish. Captive bred seems to come out more often once they gain size.

Wrasses ok

Mandarin maybe depending on pods


14 is a lot, others are correct in saying 8-10 for this size tank.
