This is where things became a little stressful . Completely disassembled the shed, and put the main reef on “life support” so I could remove the sump and finish the floor. Luckily with a few friends and family I was able to get it all removed, floor built, and sump back connected within about 4 hours. Tank didn’t notice a thing.

Have been making decent progress last few weeks when weather permits. Finished all exterior walls and installed house wrap. Hung an exterior door I had laying around. Installed a small window to let in a little bit of natural light. Will determine later if needs to be window tinted. Exterior is ready for siding once I decide which style we want. Little bit of eye candy also. New LPS wife picked out.

Got a little bit more done this weekend. Installed some of the walls after insulating. Got the water mixing station up and going. Still plenty to do but slowly making progress. Still need to install walls on the other side, trim, finish the floor, plumb the sink outside, install a/c unit, mount all drives and controllers, and mount and plumb refugium and small frag tank. Hope to make some more progress this week and weekend.

Few more things knocked off the list. At least mostly. Installed gutter (still need to do downspout), finished sink(on the inside), and finished plumbing in the RO unit and saltwater mixing station, and mounted the UV sterilizer. Hope to get the walls installed on the UV side this weekend. Also picked up a new torch coral from coral Kai.

Little more progress today. Installed a good bit of the floor, and installed the A/C unit. Next large task is to decide how to mount the two 20 gallon long tanks. Im torn between wall mounting them and building a small stand for them. One is a refugium and the other is a small frag tank. And of course some eye candy because everyone likes pictures.

Still haven’t decided on how to mount the frag tank and refugium, but went ahead and did some drainage work on the outside while weather was permitting.

Decided to use some old coral skeletons I’ve been holding onto for the past 15 years to give the trench some character and maybe some good luck. Haha

While still contemplating the rack system, I picked up some new clams for my wife’s clam tank.
