dont have any more room for the new NLS that i just got need to get a few more of this plastic containers :/ i try to feed almost all of this kined of food every day just a tiny amount each time i pass next to the tank can be even up to 10 times a day but just tiny amounts each time

all the acclimation boxes in the market they r pretty small
so i built a nice big one with a divider

so for some time the noise of the system bothers me
its the main pump that makes this Resonance Noise
since i cant do nothing with the pump i can maybe do something with the stand
so i started working to make it sound prof
that is a special foam that supposed to help its called i think fireflax

here is the process that i go when i introduce a fish in to the tank after a month or so of quarantine with parazipro and coparmin

i add some ro water to a plastic can with metylan blue the metylan blu is to help the fish Breathe in fresh water

then i get the ph at the fresh ro water to be as same as the main tank water with soda powder
i move the fish to a bucket and start dripping water from the main tank till the salinity is the same and since it takes somthing like 20-30 min i add a air pump to make it easier on the fish

i check the salinity before i move the fish to another plastic cup for temp comparison

temp comparison before they go in the fresh water for a few min dip ,i add an air pump for both buckets and wait till temp is the same

then i check to see the ph is the same both in the tank and in the fresh water

i try to move the fish from the quarantine and from each step without using nets or my hands

then i add the lil guy in to the ro water and wait 3-7 min true all this time i watch them to see how they do
if i see them stop breathing or crazy stressed i move them to the main tank and wont wait the all 7 min

some fish do better then others in most cases i havent had a problem

so just came back from vacation i was in india and after being in main land went to do my deep water training in Andaman island
my vacation was 5 weeks so i set every thing to work auto feeder ip camera and a friend that would come every few days to see whats up
so as we all know that when we go to vacation every thing u plan that wont happened happens
my vortech battery died i have no idea why my router at home broke so no ip camera and after my friend got a new router he didnt know how to set the camera i could not
help him since the WiFi in most of India or where i traveled was really poor
the water in the reserve tank finished after a month and when i got home the main pump was pooling air the tank was wight from all the bubbles
before i left i guess i put to much carbon in the sump in a reactor that i guess this and poor nutrition caused my 2 tangs to get serious hill true all there there face and there body
in all this sea of bad luck i just lost one of my fish my maroon clown
now im working on getting my fish better with tones of frozen food

Awesome pictures. It sounds like you enjoyed your trip. I have been looking for the blue yellow grouper for 2 years already. Its the blue grouper with the yellow fins and lips. Do you know what the red grouper is called?

You should have grab yourself some new maroons while you were down there.

there r a few kinds of red grouper i dont really know all there names
hahah ill think ill just get one back at home there where some maroons the size of a plate huge !
