Really great job with both systems. I'm excited to see the mangrove tank progress, and love your inspiration

Reef UP, what substrate did you go with for your mangroves? That a deep sandbed or mud (or both)? What brand sand/mud? Just curious as to what your experience with what makes mangroves successful (yours look really healthy!), I plan to add tank off my reef to grow mangroves to help filter water and, well, because mangroves are awesome

I am gearing up for a big tank in the near future and have gained a ton of ideas from you. Thank you so much. Your build is unbelievably organized and thought out.

you can use any substrate u want that u use for fresh water planets BUT do not use it if the mangrove system is connected to you main system , my mangrove tank is not connected to the main tank
if you r about to connect it to your main tank just use any sand that u can finned in the fish store

u can use any wood u want just make sure it wasn't processed against water , about the substrate use any substrate for fresh water planes but only if the mangrove tank is not connected to the main display tank (tones of nitrates and phosphates in this substrate )

Hi, I saw that you had cleaned your spaghetti stone sour, and the acid. I searched for info cleaned of mine, could you tone Detailed cleaning?
The order? clear water? Vinegar ? Acid? High pressure?
And what kind of acid you used? The proportion? Finally all.
Thank you :)
