The cause of this will be 1 of 4 things. Basically the controller is starved for power, either because of a short, a bad pump or a wrong power supply, you must check in this order for the results to mean anything.
1) The wrong power supply has been connected, it must be the correct rating, 12V 1600mA, it will be labeled Tunze order number 5012.010.
2) The pump speed was previously set all the way fully clockwise to MAX, this can draw an excessive amount of power, back the speed down slightly, generally 3 o clock is ideal if you need a higher flow rate.
3) The clips the pump connect to are in water, shorted by salt creep or corroded.
4) The pump has failed, ONLY after checking everything above, try with no pump connected, if it the controller operates normally and shows correct water level status, it is a bad pump, but removing the pump will also mask all 3 issues above, so it is critical that these are checked first.
