Welcome to my 540 ATM madness.......The setup is pretty complete and consists of a 540 ATM DT, with a 300 gal sump, 50 gal frag tank, and a 30 denitrator......It has been up and running for a little over 3 years now and I will attempt to bring it up to date rather quickly. After acquiring what I thought was to be my new 300 DT upgrade (twice), I lucked into the DT I had been looking for all along a 540 ATM 96x36x36.....so without further ado the insanity begins....LET'S ROCK!

... My current insanity pre install the day it was picked up.

It all started with a friend assisting me in relocating the fuse panel from the wall where the DT was going to be installed to an adjacent wall. This was not fun and took almost an entire day.....

Wanted a very lg sump for this setup and used this 300gal acrylic DT .....but there was one problem. Most standard 300s are narrow and not wide. I wanted a wide sump and not a narrow sump....time for some simple engineering. Good thing I do a lot of acrylic work in house. I cut out the euro brace and the front panel. I then rewelded the front panel to the top so the back would be the new bottom and the front would be the new top.....and now I had my new wide sump.
