Want some ideas. Got a regular petco 55-gallon and this was my first scape. Now I’m trading a reefer one of my RBTA for live rock and he has horse troughs full. My idea is to make something with a moderate base that goes up and has some shelf’s so I can get some sps up closer to light and my power heads are up on the top level of my tank. Is there flaws to this? Any tips anybody has on rocks to look for that can help me achieve this? What puty should I use to mold rocks together? Also anybody have a 55 gallon and willing to send a picture of your scape for inspiration. The regular 55-gallon is tough due to its depth I am now finding… thanks in advance!

If you want a high stack with only 12" of width, you will likely need to drill holes and use fiberglass rods/driveway markers for internal support. Or choose your rocks methodically and use a lot of mortar.

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
