Have the draginettes been hard to keep fed in a young tank?
I bought him pretty plump and he looks like he’s gotten even plumper. I had probably 15-20lbs or live rock in a holding tank for over a year with no fish so my population had a huge kick start, theyre on the glass and everything so there’s definitely no shortage of pods in my tank yet.

Was your anemone sold to you as a bta? It looks like a ritteri (aka magnifica). The round tips make me think ritteri.

Yes sold as a BTA. Looked totally different at the store, was like 1/4th of the size and super bubbly. Once it found its sweet spot I couldn’t believe how big it was for $30. I believe that he’s a BTA but doesn’t like to bubble up in my tank for whatever reason. Green ritteri’s I’ve seen usually have a purple or red foot, and this one has white stripes around it’s mouth.

Well the nem decided to go for a walk today after a month. Ended up getting itself in some trouble but luckily I had the mesh covering on the power head and was constantly checking on it and found it working it’s way in the Power head. Thankfully no damage as far as I’ve seen but it looks pretty mad. Water Params are stable, the only thing that changed is I fed reefroids two days ago. Maybe now it’ll see walks aren’t always fun and stay put ;Facepalm

Unfortunately the nem decided to get up again and got sucked in. This time it happened while I was sleeping and I woke up to a not so pretty sight. Super bummed because it was a beautiful nem and a total showpiece for my tank. Will likely be staying away from another to prevent the same from happening to a different anemone. :(;Drowning

Still bummed about the nem, but my new shipment from the AquaSD livesale sure did cheer me up today. Picked up a cool lobo, elegance coral, new “goldish” hammer, pink alveopora, green toadstool, and they were super generous and threw in a Superman chalice for free.

Ok finally back on track after a heater malfunction that wiped out a few corals and my shrimp. I lost my blasto, almost all of my acans (noticed there’s tiny baby’s on some of the dead skeletons, fingers crossed they’ll come back), alveopora, the new indo hammer, and worst of all my beautiful wall hammer. I’ve now learned my lesson and have the new heater on a temperature controller. Just got my order from AquaSDs clearout sale this morning and am happy with it. New corals: teal goddess branching hammer, gold and teal Euphyllia cristata, purple and green torch, utter chaos zoa, chili pepper monti, purple racer Acro, and they threw in what looks like to be their jingle fever zoas. This is my first Acro and Montipora so excited to see how this goes, figures for less than $20 each it’s a good time to give it a shot.
