55 gallon sps help

also is there anyway of bringing down the dKH I was looking at red sea coral salt because it's dKH was like 7 or 8

I wouldn't be dosing any alk thats for sure. U could dose Ca and try to get it to 420-450ppm.
The best way to lower the alk is to not dose any and let the corals utilize it at their rate until it gets low enough to where you want to keep it at, then you should be dosing a days worth of intake every day to kep it stable.

You could purposely try to get it to precipitate out of solution but its not needed, and dangerous.

A little update everything is doing great now nitrates are staying at zero my sps is growing and coloring up nicely alk is still a little high for me but everything is doing great so I guess it's not a bad thing I'll post pictures on Tuesday

I've had all of these sense February 20th I don't have any pictures from before really but everything has grown nicely sense than. you can kind of see where the two montipora are starting to fuse together some.

another update, everything is still doing good. the bad thing is the wiring to the outlets is bad so I have to get that fixed, so that means I have to move my tank which I did on sunday. that was not a fun task at all but it gave me the opportunity to start building my new tank stand. I have it half way done ill post pictures of it tomorrow.
