Use a foam brush and a sample of black paint from any home improvement store. I have the same tank and love it. Good luck

that's my next move! black vinyl or what do you suggest?
Check out this article. You won't be able to flip the tank on it's front since you already set it up but I've painted a many tanks in place like yours. I would recommend taping a plastic sheet (in paint dept. at Lowes/HD) to top of stand and the wall behind tank to prevent drips onto floor. The fumes should not have negative effects on the fish... with that said I always use the Valspar paint recommended in article so cannot comment on others :)

The vinyl backgrounds have always proved troublesome IME, especially when you don't have easy access to the back of the aquarium.

Yesterday was a busy day for me, i sold my 12gal to a friend of mine.
Removed all my rock that was in the 12gal and re-scaped the 57gal.
around 60 frags went into the new tank, idk if that was a good idea but i had no choice.
now i will be needing a better skimmer, so if anyone knows of one lmk.

update on the tank:
couple weeks back, the sailfin tang and the kole got really bad ich and didnt make it.
i recently got a yellow tang, got ich the first week but is looking good now after i added a cleaner wrasse.
i had gotten some picasso clowns a couple weeks back which also didnt make it. and i have no idea why, because my parameters were all good.
here is an updated picture i took of the tank this week.
