Looking to light a reef aquarium which is 6x2x2 feet with reef and few marine fishes. The previous owner had two 6 feet OdySea LED lights, with diff options on lighting.

Want everyones suggestion here as I am a real newbie.

I’ve got three Radion XR30’s over my 6x2x2.5 tank. If I had to do it over again I’d probably go with six XR15’s instead, but I’ve been quite happy with the Radion lights.

If I got with T5, what specification should I replace with?
Are you asking what light bulbs? I would do 2 blue plus, 2 coral plus, and 2 aquablue special in a 6 bulb fixture

I would run
3 coral +
1 aqua blue special
1 blue +
1 purple +
So much is personal taste.

I do like this combo too, plenty of blue but some good daylight mixed in. And the purple will help with overall photosynthesis.

OP... keep in mind that on a tank 2 feet wide by 2 feet deep, this is not a lot of light... you will want to upgrade in the future. If it were me, I'd add in some kessil A360WE as you can afford them. I'll be lighting a 6 foot long 30 inch wide 24 inch deep tank with 8x39w T5 and 4x A360WE's.... this will allow me to keep any coral or nem I want in my opinion.

Maybe an 8 bulb fixture.
