If your running a 60B, what overflow box and sump are you using. I just scooped up the tank at Petco. Want to start drilling but I can’t make the overbox decision. I’m leaning towards the Fiji cube overflow because the tanks rimmed. That combined with a custom 40B sump. Also…. Bean animal Durso or Herbie? Thanks!

I'm using an Eshoppes Eclipse medium. It's got 2 drains, so Herbie works well.

I used a 1200gph modular marine on mine. Sumps in basement so won’t help you.

Thanks! I actually just purchased it. The whole non waterline sold me. Guess I’ll be running the Bean. Thanks again! 👊🏻

You’ll be happy with it! Good choice
I went with the 800. That should be enough with a 40b sump right? I’m second guessing myself. lol. Maybe should of went with the 1200

Probably would be fine. But I honestly wish I went even bigger for a wider overflow for even better surface skimming. To each their own though. But that 800gph will be fine. Still could do 13X turnover rate with it.

No it’s perfectly designed for it. You get just enough room to lift lid off if ever needed. The interior box just slips into the bulkheads anyways.

No you can mount where ever you want. Just read the instructions for rimmed tanks.
