I am going to plumbing my first tank soon. It is a Fiji cube 57 gallon with a Fiji 20 sump. The overflow box has 3 bulkheads for a bean animal style drain, but the sump only has 2 bulkheads into the drain compartment.

How should I plumb it? I found the example on Fiji cube Facebook

Is it ok to tie the secondary and emergency drains together like this?

I'd plumb the main and secondary drains into the holes in the sump, and then have the emergency drain just coming into the main part of the sump. This is so if a primary drain clogs, you'll hear the water coming out of the emergency drain, kind of like an alarm.

That’s what I thought. I was thrown by the lid over the skimmer chamber. Apparently the small hole in it next to the return will be big enough for a drain.
