60 gallon . Snowflake eel

I am in the process of cycling and I am thinking of an eel . I am wondering what other fish I can get . I know anything that won't fit on his mouth but I want to know exactly and about how many . Also I am in the first week of cycling should or can I add anything like snails or shrimp or whatever. Thanks . I would also like to have coral so fish that are reef safe too .

few things for the eel
cover that top! lol
no inverts like shrimp or crabs
as far as fish go as long as it cant fit in his mouth you're golden!
what kindve filtration are you using? i see its a hangon, what model?

Thanks yes I am working on covering the top with maybe some clear mesh. I have glass I could use but it doesn't look as nice and as for the filtration I'm not quit sure aqua clear of that's it but I don't really know . For fish I was thinking maybe a wrasse , yellow tang. That's what I'm thinking so far any other suggestions ?

Also if I do get a SFE should I introduce him first or last to the tank with fish or

Just in case...all the links at the top of that page are related to Snowflakes too, including topics of compatibility and feeding. :) Both of those discussions should give you some ideas on what to add and what not to add. (It's a copious amount of info...not all of it will be relevant.)

Of course I still say add nothing else. ;)

fish are difficult for this because they cant be too small, the eel is going to get pretty big, and youre going to have corals so now you need larger reefsafe fish.
