.70 Gallon Pico Tank

This is the tank I have been working on and building for the last 2 weeks. Just thought I’d share it here and bring y’all along on my journey. It’s a 0.70 gallon acrylic tank, drilled with sump. It has a 52gph return pump but I have it set on the lowest setting so that my sump will actually have time to overflow enough water to compensate for it. I would say it is about 20gph. I just got it finished a day ago so it is still very new. My plans are for it to be zoanthid only and both rocks be completely covered in them. I will continue to update on the tank as I progress and it establishes.

I can’t tell if this is a joke or not because on other forums people are actually talking about putting tangs in picos:)

No plans for fish yet. I honestly had no idea there were any fish small enough for the tank.

I wasn’t planning on putting any fish in it. Do you think a small goby would do okay until he gets to big? Unless I happen to find some type of dwarf species that stays tiny I’ll have to set up another tank for him to live long term.

Tank and stand are 10” tall. Tank is 4.5” tall, 9” long, and 4.5” front to back.

You may be able to fit a tiny neon blue goby in there. i would just stick to smth like 1 hermit crab, or sexy shrimp and then all zoanthids or mushrooms

You are brave! I couldn’t even get a 10 gallon AIO to thrive! I can’t wait to see how it looks once the zoas grow in!

Put a yasha goby and randals pistol in it. You can find both of those crazy small and they make a cool pair.
