Looking to get a 7097.050 to use with my 6040 and had a few questions. Forgive me but I am completely new to the Tunze pumps but I love my 6040.

Will it plug directly into the 6040's controller?

My NanoBox LED fixture has a moonlight on it that I run at .2%. Would the photocell still cut the pump back with the moonlight on or does it need to be completely dark?

Thanks in advance.

Matt

I use one under my R420R and once it starts to dim to about 30-40% the photocell kicks on. I have mine sitting off to the side so you may have to play with the placement to get what you want out of it. It's nice because it cuts the pump power in half for the night until the light comes back on.

Thank you for the reply. Sounds nice. But will it work with the 6040 controller or is it only for the 7097?

My apologies for missing these threads, I wasn't receiving notices of new threads. BRS now stocks these.
