Going to go pick up some jb water weld and try to build something with shelves and tunnels. We'll see of I can pull it off.

Built 3 pillars, letting the epoxy cure. In an hour I'll put it into the tank and then epoxy on larger rocks on top of the pillars. Hope this stuff holds well.

Some of the epoxy didn't cure. Not sure why. I've moved the columns around a bit and added the large rock on top. The movement clouded the water back up. I'll take a pic when it settles out. Still making salt water.

Columns had to be close together due to space and it looks mostly like a pile of rocks still ... There are a ton of caves and what not though.

DYI screen top. Also cut some plastic to fit on the back and glued it down to cover the cables and keep my future goby from jumping.

ATO moved over and tank full. Added carbon in media bags. Waiting for skimmer replacement to show up.

It is kind of a bummer how these tanks overflows are done. You can't fill the tank up so that the water goes up to the black rim.

Reading online looks like the floodgate on the overflow may not be installed properly. I'll see if I can adjust it this evening.

Had the same problem with our Marineland 60 cube. Water from the bottom inlet ran through the overflow and couldn't get enough flow to go over the top without overpowering the drain. Still no answer without taking the rock out and closing off the bottom inlet.

Hoping I can adjust the floodgate to fix it. If not, the next step will be a beefier return pump. The drain is 1.25", the return pump is 594 gph.

Moving all my stuff from the JBJ in and add a few smaller size fish. The tank will be softies and LPS.

Floodgate helped, but still not there. Dropping by AC tomorrow to pick up the beefier return pump.
