Have had this tank for a couple months now but had a bout of ich that took out my coral beauty, flame, and bicolor angels. I'm just making sure water is stable and clean of meds before anything new in. So right now stocked with three firefish, one oscellaris, one maroon, a six line weasse, and a blue gudgeon dartfish that's always hiding. Also coral banded shrimp and peppermint shrimp, Sally light foot, two pom pom crabs, and numerous hermits and snails. Skunk cleaner shrimp got moved to the sump cuz he was being rude to an anemone that didn't make it. Also have a bta that may have bleached. Not a great start but fingers crossed it gets better from here.

Did you treat for ich in that tank or a QT? It sounds like you treated in that tank, if that's the case it might take some time before the meds are gone.

Treated for ich in the tank, didn't go fallow because I dont have another tank the right size to house the fish. Have done numerous water changes since then and finally got some coral frags off the plugs and glued to rocks. Added a yellow erase, blue tang, and three blue green chromis. That will probably be it for fish, will focus on corals and anemones from now on. Also added a rock flower nem, three rhodactis mushrooms, and a teal finger leather.

Rearranged the tank and put all the fish into quarantine. Gonna let this go fallow for a couple months while treating all the fish so hopefully no more ich problems. And all future fish will quarantine first. The corals havent opened back up yet, but I'm pretty happy with the new aquascape.

Nice change up! I like the big leather.

When you keep the tank fallow be careful not to cross contaminate from the QT, I read a thread recently where that seems to have happened and man it sounds awful!

Boy it was a pain the butt to catch all those fish. The fire fish were the worst. Little water turds.
