So I've been dosing vinegar to battle the cyano and it seems to have worked as most of it had gone away by itself, I cleaned up the rest but now instead of the purple mats of cyano and GHA I have this weird golden brown crud. Not sure what it is, wishing I had a microscope to see the cell structure. I should mention that it comes back within a few hours of blowing it off the rock powerheads and corals.

Been a long time since I've done an update. I've been fishless since about April, had some bumps lost 3 of my Battlecorals the Northstar Lingonberry and the miss scarlet :( and my ASL red Robin from the other order. But I've made some frags of the chalice, the aquaman monti, and my finger leather. Accidentally broke off the bonsai and started a second one.
Anyway here's a few pics of the growth, every one is pretty much encrusted on the bases and have showed good growth despite the few losses.

Not sure what coral this is from, but I hawkeyed it floating around the bottom and snagged it up, flesh was completely regrown on the bottom.
Glued the little guy down, now I just wait...

its either the UC matador or the Ultimate Soli.
