Hello, I'm trying to help someone who is wanting the tank in the title. I only have peaceful reef fish so I am out of my realm. I'm really trying to persuade this guy that he's going to make a mistake. He's wanting to put a porcupine puffer, a purple tang, a mandarin, copperband, and a goby pistol combo. I told him that it would be cruel to put the puffer and tang in a 75. No shrimp could survive a puffer even if he did and unless the goby was aggressive, I see the puffer and or tang stressing it to death.

I am out of my realm, what are some good stocking suggestions I can give this guy? I do know he has no sump. I don't even know if he has even ever had a marine tank before....

Oh and sorry for my spelling, I'm sure those fish aren't spelled correctly.

If he wants a puffer he should pick one in the genus Canthigaster, they won't outgrow a 75.

The only tangs for that would work for that size would be a kole OR tomini.

Appropriate semi aggressive fish would include dottybacks, damsels, dwarf angels, and clownfish.
