75G aggressive stocking?

I have never done an aggressive tank before (only reef) but im noticing most fish that i like recommend a bigger tank than a 75g. So with that said the only fish I want so far that will "fit" is a dwarf lion. Any other suggestions? Or should I go a different direction with a tank this size? Thanks in advance.

You could try doing a predator tank and maybe add a snowflake eel, a frogfish and the dwarf lion for starters.

A). Despite their predatory nature lions aren't aggressive to fish they can't fit in their mouth.

B). You could do a non aggressive FOWLR with the lion with filefish, a dwarf angel, a small butterfly species.

Realistically for your typical predatory tank you want long and wide, and volume 300g I'd say would be the minimum to keep the fish I would want in a predatory tank.

What you could do being a Fowler is make a cool tank of fish you can't trust in a reef or just different fish than the usual.

- Dwarf angels, even some of the larger angels can do ok in a 75g.
- Puffers come to mind plenty that need larger than 75g but also a few that don't!
- the non reef safe wrasses I can never have that are stunning fish
- even some bass
- eels are always cool

And lastly my all time favourite odd fish a marine betta aka the "comet"

I️ would get a couple eels, frog fish, dwarf lions, and then look into smaller puffers.

You could potentially mix dwarf lions too.

...like a fuzzy and a zebra.

...or a male and female fuzzy (they are pretty easy to tell apart).

I would do something like:
Fuzzy dwarf lion
Flame angel
Pearlscale butterfly
Kole tang
Pink spotted watchman goby

My dwarf lion tank is my fav of all time; I keep a fu, fuzzy, zebra, and antennata. So you could do more than one dwarf lion. I also like dwarf angels, a flame angel is no wimp. I like leopard wrasses for their predatory action, mine loves to hunt down live ghost shrimp. The flame hawkfish is a b.a.**** trust me, a great predatory fish. A leopard toby or valentino puffer would also be a good small predator, though personally I don't like them because of their nippiness. An orange or redtail filefish loves to hunt as well, they are cousins to triggers and have a swim style similar which makes them some of my favs for a smaller tank. My perfect small predator tank would be 1 or 2 dwarf lions, a flame hawkfish, a leopard wrasse, flame angel, and one of the filefish I mentioned. Just remember make sure to size everything properly; dwarf lions need to start out small and anything else needs to be too large for them to eat
