Hi, Ok, I have my second reef tank up and running. It's a 75g tank (48 inches long) and I have 3 Hydra 32hd's over the top, hanging 14 inches above the water surface.
Anyway, I am using the AI app on my 20g tank with my AI Prime 16hd and it works great. However, I was unable to pair up all three of my new Hydra's with the AI app, no matter what I tried, so I installed the Mobius App and tried and all 3 of the Hydra's paired easily. SO....my new 75g tank will be running on Mobius.

Anyway, I am not familiar with Mobius, so I am looking for info on how to load "presets" onto the software. I can't even access it when I am not near my tank, like when I'm at work, etc. I get a pop up that says "cannot connect to lights". So I can't just go in and create a library of presets I want to try out on my tank like I did on my 20g tank with 16hd and AI App??

Also, I am looking for a good recommendation for a Preset for the 32hd's. for a tank that will be a mixed reef, but I do like a little more cool white than all of the heavy blue presets. So, if you have a good preset that works well for LPS, Softies and a few SPS let me know what you got! I'd love to try it.

Thanks for reading.

So once you connect your light to Mobius, there are a list of preset templates:

After loading a template you can adjust the run times, total intensity, and also individual channels to your liking or run the template as loaded.

First my rant.
I ran 26s until one died an I replaced it with 32s. I had all sorts of connection issues as well. When I called AI, they informed me that their new 32s were NOT equippped with WiFi, only Bluetooth. So weird..
So I run my 26 off wifi (left side of tank) and the 32 off Bluetooth (right side of tank) Which means I can’t control the 32 when I’m not home. So bizarre.

Back to your question. I have a mixed reef with both lights 12” in height from the top. It used to be 14” (as per a BRS video) but the sps are way better with them lower. And now I can lower them to 50% power. Less algae, great growth, less money to power. This is my daily schedule.

This was what I ran my 20g nano cube running 2 16hd's which is a 32.
First 4 settings at 100%
The rest at 50%.
Very white/halide like look, imo.
This tank got me to switch all systems from halide to leds.
Start and 10 months later.
Good growth and color.

Thanks for all of them info. I appreciate it. So I did know they don't connect to Wi-Fi z but blue tooth. My problem is they simply won't connect to my AI app no matter what resets or tips or tricks I have read about. I was fed up for sure as my 16hd connects so easy. So installed the Mobius App on my y phone and all 3 hydra 32s connected effortlessly. So I am using the Mobius app to control my 75g tank now and still using my AI app to control my 16hd on my 20g tank

Switch that 16hd to the Mobius app too! You can attach it to a different profile.

It’s just beyond confusing that the previous generation had both wifi and Bluetooth. AI said they are working on the wifi connection and will push out an update once it’s done. Talk about getting it backwards.

Ahh well, at least you found a workaround.
