Hey everyone. So right when I joined this forum, it was asked what I had and future upgrades. So I present you my 120 gallon setup thread.

Forgive me everyone, the project is already finished, so this setup thread isn’t really thorough. 12 hour workdays, wedding planning, and home buying didn’t give me enough time to really flesh this out, I hope everyone will enjoy still.

So this was my current 75 gallon setup. As you can see, this is what happens when you don’t know any better with the livestock you purchase. One red mushroom blew up into many. So did the GSP. Nonetheless it was pretty to look at.

Filtration was very basic, with filter sock, skimmer, ATO and return pump

Here is the new tank, 120g dual overflow black canopy and stand:

Will post more pics so stay tuned!

so continuing forward, I began the shutdown of equipment and subsequent tank drain.

All fish caught and release into their temporary 10 gallon home. Removed the majority of my old rock work and and dug out any snails buried in the sand.

Wow very cool! Those mushrooms are actually very impressive. Maybe you make a rock island of them in your new tank. Are you planning on trying more LPS and SPS in the 120?

Yeah I’m definitely going to try some more, I still have a few of those mushrooms. The plan is to isolate them to keep them from spreading so much.

I know this has been a bit of delay, but here is the fresh saltwater being mixed using Fritz RPM salt.
