75gal Stocking Ideas

Hi !

I am setting up a 75 gallon “lagoon” inspired aquarium with a combination of predatory and larger reef fish and invertebrates, along with various macro-algae in the display and some soft corals. I am transferring my 55 gallon display to the 75. I was looking for a couple of fish suggestions to add to the roster if possible. My current stock list is:

Fish:

Snowflake Moray Eel
Dwarf Lionfish
2x Banggai Cardinalfish
Copperband Butterfly Fish
Green Matted Filefish

Inverts:

3x Peppermint Shrimp
Brittle Star
Red Serpent Star
Sand Dollar
Scarlet, Blue Knuckle, and Blue Leg Hermits
Nassarius Snails
Cerith Snails
Fighting Conch

Corals/Macro Algae:

Caulerpa (2 species)
Dragons Breath
Kenyan Tree Corals

All fish have lived together for a while. Snowflake is going on three years old but hasn't grown more than 5” In that time. He eats from a feeding stick and does not go after any other fish, or even inverts. Copperband eats blackworms and mysis shrimp. Banggai’s and file are eating frozen, and the lion only eats ghost shrimp at the moment.

For fish I was thinking to add once the 75 is up are:

Marine Betta
Black Axil Chromis
Flame Angelfish

Other fish suggestions are open as well, but I don't want to tackle any wrasses, tangs, or clownfish. Or any very small fish that my lion can fit in her mouth.

Mccoskers flasher wrasse, canary wrasse.

The chromis makes me nervous with the dwarf lion.

Betta and flame angel will be good additions.

Foxface?? Blue Throat Trigger??

I wouldn’t want the foxface to eat my macro algae, and wouldn’t want a trigger picking on my inverts. I am under the impression that both those species get too large for my tank, anyways. Wrasses never mixed well with me, I had one flasher pick on my firefish a couple years back and never went back to them. They seem aggressive to me. Any unique, predatory fish? I was thinking a frogfish, but I don’t know enough about them. Are the marine betta’s good fish? Are they hard to get feeding on frozen? I love unique-looking fish (eels, lions/scorpions/frogs, filefish, etc.)

I also want somewhat of dull-colored and solid-colored fish. Like blacks, whites, browns, greens, light-blues, etc. I don’t want too many vibrant or multi-colored fish. I want the tank to look like its a lagoon, with dull-colored fish and corals that compliment the various macro algaes.
