8 bulb combo

hello you guys,

what combos are you using for mostly acropora, montipora??
and how long do you run the lights?

4 blue+, 2 true actinic, 2 coral + for the last year or so.

Blue+ and actinic 2 bulb channel on for 12 hours

All 8 bulbs run for 6 hours

It's a little blue looking for my taste and I will soon be changing out the coral+ bulbs for giesemann tropic 6500k bulbs as I prefer a much warmer, whiter, shallow water look for sps especially. I like how the warmer light develops color in acropora. Makes them look better under actinic lighting actually. Develops more pigments and richer color. In my experience anyway.

Do you have a picture of your tank..
At the moment I'm running 5* blue+, 1* actinic, 1* aquablue spec and 1* coral+.. The actinic and 1 blue+ for 14h and the rest for 9h..

Very very accurate to true color what the eye sees. 99% there

I run 6 ATI blue plus and 2 coral plus. All blues for 8 hours and blues with the coral plus for 4 hours.

Be aware that too many ATI Blue Plus gives your tank a Windex blue look. If you're into that sort of thing.

It really does. They're a great growing bulb but you really need the right ancillary bulbs to correct the color

What you guys think of 4x blue+, 2x actinic on at 11am till 1pm, then 2x coral+ extra till 7pm, then the other 6 bulbs of at 11pm..
