Update. It’s been a while. So for the past year and half been fighting crazy hair algae. Finally beat it. Color and growth slowed /stopped during the battle. Turned out. It was me not changing the filter sock on time. I also switched to all live rock over the hair algae battle. Food build up in the sock was the main contributor. I feed 2-3 times daily. No algae and the colors and almost back.

Love it! It’s so crazy how I never used an Apex for the past 10 years. It would’ve made my job so much easier. I will never run another Reef tank without it!
