New to the forum. Back into the hobby after a 7 year break. Still in the equipment collecting stage but just about there.

80 gallon SCA rimless starfire tank w/ custom stand

Lighting: 2x Kessil 360x tuna blue. Depending on the readings from the Neptune par sensor I will probably be adding a third.

Flow: 2x Ecotech MP40w pumps & COR-15 return pump

Controller: Neptune Apex

Filtration: BKM180 skimmer, 4” carbon/GFO reactor/2x 4” filter socks, small Refugium

The insides: 60lbs of Fiji pink sand. 80lbs of real reef rock

Any updates? I'm doing almost the same exact build including two a360x's. I ordered the 80 gallon SCA tank hopefully it arrives soon, sounds like they are back-ordered at the moment. I have 2 mp10's but now that I'm thinking maybe an MP40 would be great to place on side of the tank and place the mp10's on the back panel. What's your thoughts on flow with that tank size?

I ended up going with the 90 gallon from SCA due to stocking issues. I started a new thread on the build. The mp40s were required due to the thickness of the glass. I added a 3rd 360x to mine but turned them down some to prevent any shadows.

looks beautiful, I ordered the 80 gallons back in the middle of January, Steve said that I should have it sometime the beginning of March, so hopefully, it will arrive soon. I was hoping to use the MP10's since I already had them but the tank does have 12 mm glass which is beyond the specs of them. Thanks for the advice. I also just received a Trident as well looking forward to tinkering with it once the tank gets cycled and going.
