According to josh in the brs videos going over their displays, they prefer filter pads which they have on their 900. Their other big displays have socks because that's what the sumps accept. Though he did say they might switch to those floss holders that replace the socks.

Maybe customer preference?

Anyway, meanwhile... here I am with my nuvo 10. Lol

I've thought of trying the cups that you replace the socks with, then use just the poly-fill from craft stores.

very nice and well designed and planned build, what make even great is it is done by WWC, they know what it takes to grow corals and they are using that experience in this build, love the type of rock and aquascape in this tank, hats off to who ever put those pieces together, very cohesive approach when it comes to aquascaping, looking forward for updates...

I’m in absolute awe with this build @WWC. I wasn’t sure how big to dream until I saw this. :eek: Can’t wait for the update photos!

Sorry for the delay on the updates. This past week we finally got a chance to get some updated pictures. Things have been setting in nicely however as you can see he has a lot more room for corals!
