So I set up my 425xl a few weeks ago and while I wait I was trying to come up with my ideal stock list. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

2x Ocellaris Clowns
1x Orange Firefish
1x Black Cap Basslet
1x Yellow Tang
1x Neon Goby
1x Mandarin Goby (Future choice)
1x Cleaner shrimp
1x Fire Shrimp or peppermint shrimp

again any subs/additions and thoughts in general would be appreciated.

Looks cool! I would add a second cleaner shrimp as they do better in pairs. And don't forget about a clean up crew!
Then I definitely will add a second cleaner, love them but wasn’t sure if I should do two.

and as for the CUC I will definitely have them though trying to figure out how many and what kind is a pain

Ill say the tiny dwarf cerith snails are something I could do without - they're just so small and kind of clutter the tank.
Nassarius snails are great and hermits are cool & do a good job. Nerite snails are good because they clean well but also they can be an early indicator of things going wrong (if they die or swim above the water line)

Have fun and make a build thread! I love my 425XL
