Nice man.So I picked up this little Sally lightfoot today and some more turbo snails. Hopefully Sally will behave herself or she will become a sump Sally.
This is my favorite thread! Thanks for posting the whole process and pics @Catchemall !! I've had freshwater tanks for 27 years and about a year ago set up a saltwater tank. I've wanted a reef tank since I could remember but was scared or nervous to just try it out, mainly because of lighting and not knowing what was good and having a ton of choices nowadays. I've been reading, researching and talking with people about them for many years and finally decided I'm in. I'm planning a 125 gal and I'm sure I will be referencing this thread. This was very helpful! Thank you! And please update us all!!
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that way about going from freshwater to saltwater. And a huge compliment deserved. I appreciate the detailed explanations, the time it takes to post everything, and I really love the pictures of the whole process. Definitely a confidence booster for me. I've read literally thousands of posts, even years before I "signed up" on any forums and most people give vague answers if any at all. So thank you again!! [emoji2]Dang @RozE that's a huge cmpliment. I appreciate that and glad I could help. I was always the same way with freshwater. I really enjoyed it but it's just boring compared to salt. I guess the closest freshwater tank I had that compared to this is a planted tank.
Hey man, what's up?
I'm good man, how are you?Howdy . How ya doing Cameron?

Bro we need some pictures! It's finally started to settle in good now. I added my algae scrubber back to it and it's balanced my nutrients and I'm starting to see positive results from whatever that algae outbreak i had was. All corals are colored up real nice and growing zoas are exploding with growth. I won some coral auctions real cheap they'll be here Wednesday so I'll take new pictures when they get opened up. Got more zoas another birdsnest a alvepora and a Chalice.
