Alrighty, been away from our tank for 8 days finishing this move - Tunze ATO and Avast Marine Plank Feeder are huge for piece of mind! Will be doing a water change and maybe some additional updates later on. Otherwise all is good.

And, I drove right by the LFS sooo, we have some new additions . +1 Lawnmower Blenny (Leonard), to replace Benny, God rest his soul. And frags! +1 Candy cane, Goniopora, and Rhodactus mushroom.

Rhodactis, seen here by the tiniest Zoa colony in North America, and a Rainbow Monti that really wants to make it here:

^ Bicolor hammer also really opened up in the past week, which will end for 2 weeks as soon as I glue him to the rock work lol.

Leonard the Lawnmower on the bed with the new candy cane and slow-opening Goni:

Let's update the current stocking list in this 55 also:

2 Mocha Storm Clowns
3 Pajama Cardinals
1 Melanurus Wrasse
1 Royal Gramma
1 Lawnmower Blenny
1 Pistol Shrimp
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
+ Assorted Nassarious, Astrea, Margarita Snails
+ Assorted Hermits

~ 90 lbs live rock
~ 80 lbs live sand

I almost pulled the trigger on a Coral Beauty for $80, but feeling like I'm about at the max of fish I want to stock I'm here. Maybe. We'll see what happens on the next LFS run after these settle in... I do want to save room for a Mandarin Goby once I'm confident enough in the pod population..

Also about to make an upgrade here as well, unless someone gives me a good reason not to do it... :face-without-mouth:

My current Eshopps PSK-100H HOB skimmer has been working ok, but after 10 months has developed some sporadic (more frequent than not) noise from the pump, and if the inlet connector is not exactly in the right place, will drip drip on occasion. The outlet is not super quiet as well. These are both before and after a multi-day soak in citric acid and associated cleaning. I also broke a micro-bubble diverter in it when cleaning, sooo may be time to go big.. Then I will have the Eshopps as a spare HOB for the 46 gallon acrylic tank I just found in my own shed :grinning-squinting-face:

As I'm waiting for some SW to mix for a WC today, scrolled through some old pics (from about 9 months ago), some growth really has been more than I noticed!

Order up! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Hehe. Going to add some @Projects with Sam custom shades to the XR15/diffusers when he's back from vaca also! Tired of getting blinded! Also tired of holding my left hand up to block light whenever I want to snap a photo without vicious reflections lol...

HURRY UP AND GET BACK TO WORK, SAM :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

If you get the diameter on that protein skimmer lid I can make you a co2 scrubber for it too!

Also testing phosphates today, still under 0.40 which is a win for this tank, but the algea has returned.. Likely a little scrub a dub dub with a WC this weekend.

For reference we up as high as 0.64 before the move, 0.38 a week after re-setting up with an entire new sand bed and 0.39 today.

Have some Phosphat-E on hand which I have to do a little more research on but mayyy try some light dosing. I've been running without anything in a while..
