Just ordered the WAV Starter Kit for my 90 gallon mixed reef. Curious what settings and positioning people are running. So I can get a general idea of where I want to start.

Thanks!

Upper, outer corners are a great place. Angle them towards the center of the tank as far as they will allow you to. Then slightly angle them towards the surface. Here are mine and they work beautifully here.

That looks amazing! I have a corner overflow, how would I work around that?

Nice setup man! Still unsure how to deal with the corner overflow.

Remove and throw it in the trash get a external overflow that's what I did gave me so much more room the overflow takes away six plus inches from the tank. And thanks appreciate it

Haha that's not really an option at this point.[emoji12]

well u have a picture of ur tank set up? Do you want to view the tank from the left side? If not put both wavs on the left side panel model to top and create a mean gyre. I really got lucky and placed the heads like this and got all the flow I needed so I can't say a better way to do it. ESP with that silly overflow if I still had it I have no idea where I would put the second wav

It would be great to remove but seems like too risky of a task.

Old thread but wondering where you put your wavs at OP and what schedule did you run? Did you use a schedule found discovery or make up one on your own

I’m using the brs gyre program going up to 70% with the wavs on the back wall

But I have added three mp10’s as well on the side

I tried to find that program on the apex fusion app via the discovery tab but couldn’t find it. How do you like the additional mp10s? I have a icecap 3k in the middle between my wavs in the back wall but even at 10-20% I get a divot in the middle of my tank from sand blowing. I might have to move it to a side wall I just don’t like it there

I wish I went with bigger sand or no sand but love the mp10’s

I just copied and pasted the brs gyre code off the video into mine and it worked
